In October of last year, the Biden-Harris administration made a deal with Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro to ease sanctions on Venezuela’s failing economy in exchange for the promise of free and fair elections in Venezuela this year. Maduro took the money, mouthed the words, and gave the U.S. the finger. Thanks Democrats.
Since Biden and Harris stepped in to save Venezuela’s failing economy, Maduro responded by emptying the worst offenders from his jails across the U.S. Southern border, and blatantly stealing his election despite massive opposition turnout and exit polls that showed Maduro losing in a landslide.
Harris, of course, was quick to cheer Maduro’s victory – and oddly enough did so before the polls were even closed.
It wasn’t all that long ago that Venezuela had a robust, thriving economy, and rapidly rising standard of living. While the preferred narrative of the Leftstream Media is that oil prices and over-dependence on natural resources caused Venezuela’s collapse, that narrative loses traction when you consider that several other oil-dependent nations around the globe (most notably Russia and Saudi Arabia) have weathered the same downturn in oil prices with little more than blips in their economy to show for it. The root cause is socialism and leftist policy – policies that almost exactly mirror the platform of present-day Democrats in the United States. Policies explicitly embraced by Kamala Harris.
