Alexis de Tocqueville never actually said the ‘The American Republic Will Endure Until The Day Congress Discovers That It Can Bribe The Public With The Public’s Money.’ Nevertheless, as Democrats like Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates and others are openly voicing their disdain for the U.S. Constitution and our governing norms, the left has fully embraced the sentiment and are busy buying votes with your money in multiple ways.
The Biden Administration and crown-princess Kamala Harris are touting a new jobs report showing over 250,000 new hires last month. But what really happened? Per Zero Hedge:
“In September, the number of government workers as tracked by the Household Survey soared by 785K, from 21.421 million to 22.216 million, both seasonally adjusted. This was the biggest monthly surge in government workers on record.”
That’s right: the private economy lost half a million jobs. And who will these new government hires vote for? Judging by their political contributions, the vast majority will vote Democrat.
It’s not just government hires. Per a new report in the Wall Street Journal, more Americans than ever are dependent on federal assistance. Somewhere around 2020 we crossed the Rubicon – more Americans are now dependent on government assistance than employed. Historically, the vast majority will vote Democrat.
And then, there’s this:
That’s a text message one of our friends received from the Harris campaign. It’s blatant vote-buying, but far more honest than the massive increase in government workers and constant expansion of the welfare state Democrats are using to underpin their electoral hopes. And the government worker numbers are misleading because they don’t include government contractors, whose numbers are also increasing rapidly, and are equally likely to reward the Party lining their pockets.
Frankly, given the public spending, biased media, and ongoing efforts of Google and others, it is a miracle Republicans are ever competitive for any seat.
