Who Is Sine Kerr?

Sine Kerr (pronounced SEEN-uh) is a Buckeye dairy farmer and former Arizona Senate majority whip. She represented Legislative Districts 13 and 25 in the Arizona Senate from 2018 to 2025, after being appointed to fill a vacancy. Most recently, she served as Arizona state executive director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency.

On July 31, 2026, Republican gubernatorial nominee Andy Biggs chose Kerr as his running mate, making her Arizona’s first Republican nominee for lieutenant governor. Biggs cited her standing with farmers, ranchers, and policymakers across the state, and Kerr pledged that rural Arizona would “always have a seat at the table” in a Biggs-Kerr administration. The ticket faces Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs on November 3.
