There is nothing more hilarious in the United States political orbit than watching self-righteous Democrats and their bootlicking press allies attack Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign. The hypocrisy is so rich.
Yes, dear readers, the Democratic Party that keeps telling everyone – and their mouthpieces in mainstream media keep spouting it – that only habitual liar Joe Biden stands in the way between democracy and dictatorship. Yet, it is his party, his donors, his pundits who played dirty and basically forced RFK Jr. to drop his lifelong Democratic Party affiliation and run as a third-party candidate.
Biden paraded the Kennedy family out to attack him. By the way, how many people under 40 have fond recollections of John F. Kennedy?
Biden mercenaries attacked him mercilessly when he ran as a Democrat and continued their cold-hearted strategy of not providing him Secret Service protection when he was a Democrat candidate and now as a third-party candidate. The threats to him are real.
They have donors and committees set up to keep him off the ballot – doesn’t seem very democracy-ish.
Their press propagandists pursue a mendacious strategy against him.
The only rotten apple they haven’t pulled out of their bag of dirty tricks YET, is directing those cannibals who ate Pres. Biden’s departed uncle 2nd Lt Ambrose J Finnegan Jr to go after RFK, Jr.
Now we have environmental groups who RFK has supported for years — I mean, he is an environmental attorney – come out and oppose him. They are now calling him a “dangerous conspiracy theorist and science denier.” Remember my comment that they will pursue a mendacious strategy against him?
Friends like this, who needs enemies? I hope he has some friendly dogs.
There was a line from these Biden environmentalist propagandists that caught my attention as reported by the New York Times, “Any support for this Kennedy-in-name-only will inevitably result in a second Trump term and the complete erosion of vital environmental and social gains made to date.” Note: JFK would be termed a RHINO today, but that conversation is for another day.
My co-host Sam Stone and I have some real policy differences. Example: I am a neocon or hawk — whatever term you prefer. That being said, Sam has often said that the environmental movement is as much about controlling behavior as protecting the environment; maybe Sam is right. Maybe they showed their poker hand by saying “complete erosion of vital environmental and social gains made to date.” Social gains have little to do with clean air, water, etc., unless you are an Ivy League professor.
So maybe Sam is right. The environmental movement for some – not all – is a Trojan Horse for their big government, collectivist, socialist intentions. They make the rules. Just accept their decisions.
Epeius, the master carpenter and pugilist, who built the Trojan Horse would be proud of their devious designs.
By the way, clean air, water, building nuclear plants, etc., are good things.
Speaker Johnson’s Spine
This is an easy segue because RFK and Speaker Johnson have something in common – a backbone.
The Biden Democrats and MSNBC campaign are doing everything that only continues to annoy RFK and, as a result, strengthen his spine apparently. They keep digging their hole and have probably pushed him to a point of no return, not dropping out.
The reality is, when you have a real belief system, when you are satisfied with the person you see in the mirror every morning and night, you have the fortitude to stick things through.
I do not know Speaker Johnson, but everything I have read – even by the press and liberal pundits who mock his faith – he has conviction and tries valiantly to live his Christian principles. Like all of us, I am sure he falls a lot, but that standard appears important to him.
So when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and others now threaten his Speakership if he pushes a vote on Ukraine funding, he takes their concerns seriously, but at the end of the day, his faith has him focusing on the long ball. How will history judge? How will he answer when he meets his maker? These are the questions I would bet on my FanDuels app that he considers paramount versus keeping the title “Speaker.”
Amazing what crap one can endure when he/she has a loving family and core belief system. If you don’t have it, try it. It is life-changing.
Bill Maher and Drag Queens
Finally, Bill Maher, who is secure in his belief system, talked about the culture of pedophilia in Hollywood and Drag Queen Story Hour (as tweeted by comedian filmmaker Eric Abbenante):
“DeSantis wasn’t wrong. We’re so tribal now, the left overlooks the child f&^%%ing if the guy from the wrong party calls it out. For pedophiles in Hollywood its a small world after all. Maybe it’s time to admit Drag Queen Story Hour is more for a queen than the kids. Sure kids love a clown but does the clown have to have titis? When I see a 5 year old tipping at a bar under a sign that says ‘It’s not going to lick itself’ do I have to pretend that’s cool in order to keep my liberal ID card.”
Amen Mr. Maher.
Apparently, in the MSNBC and ActBlue world, you do. Does he get a formal letter denouncing him and asking him to cut up his liberal ID card? If they do, can he get his $1 million back he gave President Obama?
I find it interesting that you rarely hear about them doing Drag Queen Story Hours at homeless shelters, along the border, etc.
Look, if that is your thing, drag, so be it, but why do you feel you need to do Story Hour for kids?
