Dr. Ruth Offers Advice on Safely Viewing the Eclipse: 'No, Don't look at the Sun Thru a Condom.’
Dr. Ruth, 95 years old tornado, s*x therapist and cultural icon — who 40 years and older doesn’t know of her? – proffered some advice for people viewing April’s total solar eclipse.
“I’ve been urging people to use protection when having s*x for decades. So now I want to urge you to use protection for your eyes, if you plan on observing the solar eclipse. And, no, don’t look at the sun thru a condom but special glasses.”
As the old saying goes, “behind every joke is some truth.” I’m sure Dr. Ruth said this with some humor, but in the back of her mind I am sure she thought, you know there are some really dumb people out there.
By the way, if you don’t have solar eclipse glasses and decide to use a condom, we need to commit you ASAP to some mental facility.
No glasses? No problem. Here are old school ways to watch Monday’s eclipse.
Brittle 10 Percenters
A friend of mine is a fitness trainer for a few high-end resorts in Scottsdale, Arizona. These are the type of places where people taking fitness classes are part of the 10-20% income bracket, where rooms start at $580 plus (with a resort deal) or where they work for a profitable corporation.
After teaching a fitness class this week at one of these high end resorts that provide “spa, fitness and movement,” the management called her in and presented her “a new water bottle today because a female guest complained about my Trump sticker and said she “felt threatened and unsafe.”
The Covid and woke movements have really created a class of brittle, mentally soft and unbearable people. I mean I think Biden is a horrible human being. He is everything as a person, progressives claim Trump to be, but come on. Hey, you put a Biden sticker on YOUR water bottle or Biden bumper sticker on YOUR car, so be it. That is your right. It’s the whole First Amendment thing which apparently is evil to this Karen-in-training at the Scottsdale resort.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the First Amendment, it reads:
Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Christina Amira Khalil, Connecticut Green Party candidate for US Senate, posted the following:
According to CBS News, “There’s a major fault line in New Jersey called the Ramapo Fault, which stems from the Appalachian mountains, and there are at least five smaller fault lines under Manhattan island.”
But like many narrow minded progressives, everything is due to the “climate crisis.” Bad day? Climate crisis. Fight with kids? Climate crisis. Do the New York Mets suck? Climate crisis. Give the Big Guy 10%? Climate crisis.
Sometimes a “cigar is just a cigar” and sometimes an earthquake is just an earthquake of a fault line.
Enough with quick to fingers tweets from both sides of the aisle. Think, read, and reconsider before you Tweet (or X).
Murderer Gypsy Rose Blanchard
Gypsy Rose Blanchard… Please stop writing about her. For all that is good and holy. I don’t care about her cosmetic surgery, sex life, separation or dating old fiance. When we give attention to these types of infamous folks, we show mentally unstable people’s actions really don’t have consequences long term. Even if we, like I, felt sympathy for the extreme abuse her deceased mother placed upon her. No one deserves that.
Why am I writing about her? Because she is on my social media feeds all the time. It is like my mom forcing me to eat my broccoli when I was a kid. Note: I really like broccoli now, but most of us are not going to become fond or admire Ms. Blanchard.
Dear “People” magazine, let’s show a little more discretion about who we highlight. Even if it boosts sales. Let’s focus on topics like The Rock not endorsing Biden again and progressives calling him a coward and having their Karen moment because a celebrity didn’t fall along party lines.
